 I feel like I should be spending all the time I have been devoting to social media here instead. WAY less toxic bullshit here. I need more people to follow though...

I came to DW last year when tumblr was self-sabotaging over the nsfw stuff, and loads of my tumblr friends were doing the same, so I could look them up and follow. I also used the interest tag to look for sherlock fans, acd holmes fans, granada holmes fans, etc., and so on. tumblr didn't entirely self destruct (yet) so most of my tumblr friends are still there more than here, and it seems like a lot of the people I follow here post about non fandom stuff, so I don't visit as often as I could. But those interest tags or whatever they call them was a good way to look for people who were at least active here. It's not as easy to find people here as it is on tumblr, where you can follow a reblog back to the op, scroll their posts, and think, yes this is what I want on my dash. But you can look at who your DW friends follow, and poke around that way.

Technically I came over when Livejournal was taken over by the Russians, but I haven't been using it that much since. I need to remind myself of how I built my flist over there because so far it's group heavy with little individual journals. Obviously I'm finding some success in that endeavour. Right now I'm mostly looking for people replying to posts from other people I already found.
