Okay, so...I'm back, obviously. And I didn't write a word of fanfiction while I was gone so I'm still trying to get back into the habit and I'll try to post a new chapter of something soon. I also need to get the trip pictures and the journal I usually accompany them with in some semblance of order. But today was a crazy ass day at work and I'm exhausted, so...
Meme time!
Comment with "ACTION!" and I will give you ten actors and ten actresses. Then post in your livejournal with your favorite films of theirs.
elise_509 gave me these
Actors!
1. Bill Murray - "Groundhog Day". Otherwise known as the *only* Bill Murray I have watched *and* liked.
2. Ewan McGregor - I can only pick one? I liked "Angels & Demons", but that's mostly because I loved the book and Ewan's character was totally different. "The Island" was awesome. But when it comes to fluffy romantic comedies I have to say I loved him in "Down With Love".
3. Gael Garcia Bernal - I had to look this one up on IMDb. The *only* movie I have seen from his filmography is "Babel", but I really liked that movie so I'm sure I would have picked it anyway. :)
4. Rachel Weisz - "Runaway Jury". Probably also my favorite John Cusak movie. No, wait...that would be "Identity".
5. Ethan Hawke - Can I count his guest stint on "Alias"?
6. Kevin Kline - How fitting is it that one of my options here is "Sophie's Choice"? Let's call that my favorite drama. And let's say my favorite comedy is "Pink Panther".
7. Anthony Hopkins - All of them. Well, okay, maybe not *all* of his movies are good, but he's pretty damn amazing in all the ones I've seen.
8. Chiwetel Ejiofor - Drama: "Children of Men", Fluff: "Love, Actually". Though I don't actually remember him being in either one. The ones I *do* remember him being in weren't that good though.
9. Will Ferrell - "Stranger Than Fiction" may be the only one I've seen, but I was pleasantly surprised by it so I'll go with it.
10. Campbell Scott - "Dead Again". Oh, shut up! ;P
Actresses!
1. Kate Winslet - It's a toss up between "Titanic" and "The Reader".
2. Angelina Jolie - Well, I just saw "The Changeling" yesterday, but I think I may have to go with that. Unless I want fluffy fun with eye candy and then I have to go with "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" (christ, they are both so beautiful!).
3. Vanessa Redgrave - There are a lot of her movies that I've been meaning to see but haven't yet. Seriously, it's sort of embarrassing. :( Of the ones I've seen already...I vaguely remember "The Pledge" being really good, but I might have to go with the original "Mission Impossible".
4. Penelope Cruz - "Sahara", although when I run out of space in my movie collection that will probably be one of the first movies to go. I haven't seen "Nine" yet.
5. Reese Witherspoon - "Walk the Line". How she went from that dumb blonde lawyer movie to this I'll never know.
6. Deborah Kerr - Am I supposed to come up with something *other* than "An Affair to Remember"? ;) Maybe "The King and I"...nah, "Affair".
7. Diane Keaton - Well, I like her, but I've found I don't like Woody Allen movies, so that takes a few out of the running right there. I remember "Mrs. Soffel" being good, but I don't remember anything about it other than it had Mel Gibson. So I guess it comes down to "The Godfather" or "The Other Sister" depending on what I'm in the mood for.
8. Jennifer Garner - Now I really want to say "Alias". But if I had to limit the choice to *movies*...I love her in "13 Going on 30", but I loved "Catch Me If You Can" more in general.
9. Uma Thurman - "Les Miserables". Much better than the other movie she did in '98.
10. Christine Lahti - She does movies? Well, I'll have to go with her television work anyway and say "Jack and Bobby" (damn the WB for cancelling it...hmpf).
