I just realized I hadn't saved a NSFW artwork I used as inspiration for one of my stories. When I went looking for the artist, I couldn't find her at all. Her account was deactivated. Out of curiosity, I did a Google search for ANY fanart with that pairing and got almost no hits and certainly none that are in any way suggestive of a relationship. So congratulations, Tumblr, you managed to sanitize the entire internet and destroy creative fandom. Fuck you.

So I just had to put a note in my story about why my readers can no longer see the fanart that inspired one of my stories EVEN THOUGH I SAVED A COPY TO MY COMPUTER and I am PISSED. Because while a lot of "fandom olds" could see this coming and were smart enough to have backups of their work, a lot of the newbies seemed to stubbornly believe Tumblr would be safe and around forever. Entire swaths of fandom will probably be lost.

Fuck you, Tumblr. Fuck you forever.
