I was so worried I was going to make it sound like the scene where Alicia listens to Will's voicemail from this last season of The Good Wife. I think I changed it so that wouldn't happen. At least Jack doesn't have to wonder what the hell he meant to say.

The good news is: I am far more likely to resurrect characters the show's writers killed off than kill ones they didn't.
