Television nostalgia - Part the 3rd

Days 1-8
Days 9-15

Day 16 - Your guilty pleasure show -
I don't know if anything I watch anymore qualifies as a "guilty pleasure". I watched a couple non-consecutive seasons of "Dancing with the Stars" because it was the only reality competition show I could tolerate but I fast-forwarded through half of the performance episodes and didn't even bother with the results shows. And the last one I saw was the one Kristi Yamaguchi won, whenever that was, so I'm not sure I would count it.

Day 17 - Favorite mini series -
"Roots". Great acting, epic story and it has aged amazingly well. I think everyone should be required to see it in American History class, but it's too long for that to be realistic.

Day 18 - Favorite title sequence -
I usually fast-forward through these, so I'm not really sure. Though the fact that I watched the opening title sequence of "Quantum Leap" about 50+ times and never got tired of that song says something, I think. But it probably says more about the song than anything.

Day 19 - Best t.v show cast -
"Lost". JJ Abrams always seems to have good luck with casting, but he really hit the jackpot with this one. They're all amazing.

Day 20 - Favorite kiss -
The first one to leap to my mind is Vaughn and Sydney's epic first kiss in the middle of the SD-6 rubble. That whole episode was so stunningly game-changing that I spent the next week wondering if I had dreamed it.

Day 21 - Favorite ship -
I assume it doesn't have to be het. No ship has ever been as fun and rewarding for me as a fanfiction writer and reader as Jack/Sawyer.

Day 22 - Favorite series finale -
I've probably seen a lot of series finales, but I don't remember much about many of them. I guess that says something. The ones I remember clearest - mostly because many are recent - that went out on their own terms (i.e. had a *series* finale and not just a cancellation cut off) are "Gilligan's Island", "Quantum Leap", "Friends", "Everybody Hates Chris", "Alias", "Lost", "Flashforward" and "Prison Break". Of those...probably either "Friends" or "Lost" but they're so different that they're impossible to compare to each other.
